Chung, a friend of mine, has participated in all three Dipstocks. She’s what you call a real dip lover.
For the spring Dipstock she confessed to making three dips–pumpkin dip, olive tapenade, and this creamy crab dip that she compares to GoldCoast crab dip. Don’t know what GoldCoast crab dip is? Me neither. I had to look it up.
Taken from GoldCoastSalads.com: “GoldCoast Salads is a Naples, Florida based company that manufactures high quality seafood spreads. Our current product line consists of a Maine Lobster Spread, Blue Crab Spread and Smoked Salmon Spread.”
Chung says that this dip is not exactly the same as GoldCoast’s, but that it’s still yummy. Enjoy!
*16 oz. can of lump/claw crab meat
*1 tsp. lemon juice
*½ cup mayo
*¼ cup sour cream
*1.5 tsp sugar
*2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
*½ tsp garlic powder (NOT garlic salt)
*egg whites from 4 large eggs (chopped or crumbled)
*¼ cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
Instructions: 1. mix crab meat with lemon juice. 2. add the remaining ingredients and mix well. 3. dip!

One more day to participate in Dipstock. Get your friends together and have a dip party this weekend! It’s WAY better than a dinner party, and you might get a prize. Find out more here.
I feel so honored to be featured on your blog! I hope you like the recipe. And if you ever get a chance, check out the GoldCoast Blue Crab dip. Heavenly. I don’t know if you have a Costco in Denver, but that’s where we first discovered it. Happy dipping!
We do have Costco, and I will definitely be checking it out. Thanks again, Chung!
Getting ready to try your recipe for crab dip. My friend introduced me to the Blue Crab Crab Dip a few weeks ago and it is AMAZING!
