Saucy Dipper News and Events (No Beagles were Harmed this Week)

beagle with whipped cream

Meet Moe. He manages to show up on all my blogs (yes, I have three blogs plus a couple that are now defunct). During a recent dip adventure he came into whipped cream, which caused some concern. Turns out his tummy doesn’t mind a little dairy.

Sorry, Moe!

In other news…

If you participated in the July Dipstock and did not receive your cookbook, contact me to let me know. I’ll get it off to you right away.

The next Dipstock is scheduled for October 24-31 (you can RSVP on the Saucy Dipper Facebook Group). I know it’s a little early, but I want time to find the perfect assortment of Halloween-themed dips and a costume. Here’s what I’m thinking so far…

Aye chiwawa.

Speaking of Facebook, I will post sauce and dip trivia questions every Wednesday to the Group. Play along. It’ll make you smart and people will probably start inviting you over more. Every dinner party needs a strong conversationalist.

Get “The Scoop.” Yes, that’s the Saucy Dipper newsletter. Once a month I’ll send out special coupons, deals, and sauce making tips, so be sure to sign up (form is up the page a little and on the right side). See it? Just enter your name and email and then hit the blue “Get The Scoop” button.

I plan to post here on the blog twice each week. In the two months since launching Saucy Dipper I admit to being a sporadic poster. I figure that if I tell you that I will post on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week then I’ll be more likely to actually do it. So there. I’ve officially committed to being a regular blog poster.

Share your crazy bacon photos! I’m compiling a list of the craziest bacon creations around. If you’re a creative bacon cook, please share your pics on Facebook or by emailing me (sara at saucydipper dot com).

Last, I want to leave you with this video. It’s important that you know more about guacamole. Can you say mutant jelly?

    1. Allergies are the worst. I’ve heard there are few hypoallergenic dog breeds, but of course I don’t know them off the top of my head.
