Eight Dips and Counting

I’ve decided to celebrate Dipstock two ways. First, by getting together with girlfriends for a dip party this last Sunday, and second, I’m going to make a couple of patriotic dips this upcoming weekend to celebrate July 4th.

At the kickoff party we dined on eight different sauces and dips, which are pictured below. I won’t be sharing the recipes with you just yet, but I am putting the recipes together for those who participate in Dipstock. That’s right. If you share a dip or sauce recipe with me this week either through the Dipstock page or through the Saucy Dipper Facebook group, I’ll send you the first-ever Saucy Dipper Dipstock cookbook (includes all the Dipstock submissions).

Without any more delay, check out these eight divine sauces and dips.

bacon wrapped water chestnuts

coconut sauce with chives

peanut sauce for lettuce wrap

onion soup dumplings

black bean dip

home made veggie chili
Vegetarian chili with zucchini!

whipped cream for dip
And this last one...well, this last one didn't turn out so well. What you see is whipped cream intended for a chocolate chip dip, but the dip was disastrous. So disastrous that I couldn't bring myself to take a picture of the finale. It couldn't all be perfect, could it?

ps – A big thank you to my friends who attended the Dipstock kickoff party and who took some of these amazing photos.
